Emmy Award winning augmented reality media application for Red Bull's Rampage freestyle downhill mountain bike event.
Concept
Millions tuned into Rampage this year, and with XR Media Group’s expertise, we created an immersive AR experience for fans worldwide. The app featured a detailed photogrammetry model of the course, rider selection with path tracking, and a live broadcast from a virtual billboard. Launched with integration into the brand’s TV app, the Rampage AR app saw over 100,000 downloads on launch day and received nominations for AWE’s Best Consumer App Auggie Award and won the 41st Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Digital Innovation.
